These Changes Are Effective January 1, 2021
Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) Therapy: Benefits for this autism therapy will be added. (Currently, ABA Therapy is not covered.)
Ambulance: Services will be subject to the deductible. (Currently, they are not subject to the deductible.)
Hearing Aids: The Plan will pay up to $800 every three years. (Currently the maximum is $400 every three years.)
Hospice Care: Respite care will no longer have a day limit; the Plan will pay 60% out-of-network; and hospice care will be subject to the deductible. (Currently the Plan allows 14 respite days per lifetime; pays 80% out-of-network; and hospice care is not subject to the deductible.)
Travel Immunizations: Benefits for travel immunizations will be added. (Currently travel immunizations are not covered.)
Deductible: The carry over provision will end. (Previously, any amount you paid toward the deductible in the 4th quarter was carried over to the next Plan Year, if you did not meet the annual deductible.)
Maximum Out-of-Pocket: The carry over provision will end. (Previously, any amount you paid toward the out-of-pocket in the 4th quarter was carried over to the next Plan Year, if you did not meet the annual maximum.)
