The Bledsoe Health Trust proudly serves employees who are employed by or retired from western wood products employers who have collective bargaining agreements with the Carpenters Industrial Council or affiliated local unions providing contributions to the Plan.
Your benefits give you and your family the security of knowing that you have benefits you can count on—for help with everyday bumps along the road, to managing challenging health issues, to financial protection in the event of a catastrophic illness or accident.
The Trust works with your employer and bargaining group to offer high-quality benefits that are low in cost to members and provides the option to cover your eligible dependents.
The Trust is not an insurance company. The Trust pays claims with the monthly contributions made by participating employers. Any assets of the Trust are placed in a trust fund for the sole and exclusive benefit of the members and their beneficiaries.
This Plan is sponsored and administered by a joint labor-management Board of Trustees in keeping with the terms of the Trust Agreement. Trustees are Fiduciaries meaning, among other things, they have a fiduciary responsibility to ensure that decisions are made prudently and are in the sole interest of participants and beneficiaries to the exclusion of the interests of any other parties.
The Trust Plans provide opportunities for you to save money while also keeping the Trust strong:
So go ahead and make the most of your benefits—just use them wisely to keep costs down for everyone.
