Your Vision Benefits

Your Vision Plan covers an annual vision exam and provides an allowance for lenses, frames and contact lenses.

The Vision Plan is administered through Vision Services Plan (VSP). You’ll get the best benefit coverage when you choose an in-network VSP Provider.

To find a VSP Provider, go to vsp.com, log in and click “Find a Doctor.” You’ll pay your copay and any amount exceeding the Plan’s allowance at the time of service.
If you choose a non-VSP Provider, you’ll pay the bill in full, then submit a claim for reimbursement according to the Plan’s payment schedule.

You do not pay a deductible before the Plan begins to pay benefits.

You pay a $20 copay

Plan pays up to $50

Lenses (every 24 months)

You pay a $20 copay; plan pays 100% of the allowed amount for single vision, lined bifocal, and lined trifocal lenses

Plan pays up to:
Single vision: $50
Lined bifocal: $70
Lined trifocal: $85

Frames (every 24 months)

You pay a $20 copay; Plan pays 100% of the allowed amount

Plan pays up to $70

Contact Lenses (every 24 months; in lieu of lenses and frames)

Plan pays an allowance toward the cost of services.

Plan pays up to $105

VSP Discounts

You may get 20% off from any in-network VSP doctor within 12 months of your exam. These value-added discounts can help you pay for extras the Plan does not cover, including:

Blended lenses
Contact lenses (except as noted elsewhere)
Progressive multifocal lenses
Photochromic lenses or tinted lenses other than pink #1 or #2
Coated lenses
Laminated lenses
A frame that costs more than the plan allowance
Certain limitation on low vision care
Cosmetic lenses
Optional cosmetic processes
UV protected lenses

If you are considering laser vision correction, VSP can help you make an informed decision and offer a discount through VSP’s partners.

You’ll receive an average 15% off the regular price or 5% off the promotional price
